www.cmvp.net is an online record management solution provided by Proliance Ltd, a registered company with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria with certificate of incorporation number RC 1451877. The platform is designed to assist businesses such as Inspection Bodies, Calibration and Testing Labs, Certification Bodies, Training organisations, schools and institutes, as well as related entities in managing, storing, and verifying issued certificates or results in a secure and organised manner.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- Access and/or use of the CMVP platform constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as at the period (date and time) of your first use of www.cmvp.net.
- You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes such that the rights of others to utilise the services are not compromised, infringed, or restricted.
- Intellectual Property: The Platform, including its software, features, and design, is the intellectual property of Proliance Ltd. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
- To the extent permitted by law, the platform and Proliance Ltd exclude all liability for any loss or changes, including indirect, special, or consequential loss or damages, or any loss or changes whatsoever arising from use or connections. This exclusion does not limit or exclude Proliance Ltd from liability resulting from negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Proliance Ltd takes no responsibility for the content of external internet websites. Links to any other websites or pages not associated with CMVP that you visit shall be at your own risk, and Proliance Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for any damages resulting from use of such websites.
- Payments: All amounts owing to Proliance Ltd for use of the Platform must be paid and confirmed before a service is fulfilled. You are obliged to pay for the services Proliance Ltd agrees to provide, whether or not you fully utilise those services. Payments through approved payment gateways depend on the selected payment method. Proliance Ltd may decline your registration if full payment has not been received and confirmed. You agree that Proliance Ltd may disclose this information to a credit reporting agency or any other interested person under applicable law.
- Communication: Any communication or material transmitted to, or posted on, any public area of the website, including data, questions, comments, replies, or feedback, shall be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. Proliance Ltd reserves the right to remove such communication or material from the website at its discretion.
- Limitations of Liability and Disclaimer: The website does not warrant that functions and materials will be error-free or uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, or that the website or server are free of viruses or bugs. It does not represent full functionality, accuracy, or reliability of materials.
- Vetting of Users' Information: As an online records management and verification service provider, CMVP acts as a medium for management and verification of original certificates issued by an organisation. Company-uploaded information and records as evidence of a registered business entity may undergo vetting to confirm essential information.
- Commercial use or publication of all or any material displayed on the website is strictly prohibited without authorisation from Proliance Ltd.
- Authorisation: You expressly authorise CMVP to store and retain all registration data submitted in response to use of services or upload of certificate information.
- User Responsibilities: Users agree to the following responsibilities:
- Ensure that all data entered into the Platform is accurate and complete.
- Retain proper records of issued certificates as required by applicable laws and regulations.
- Take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to their account and data stored on the Platform.
- Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Certificate Verification: The Platform includes an automated certificate verification portal to help prevent forgery. Users acknowledge that:
- Verification services depend on the accuracy and completeness of the data provided by the User.
- The Platform Provider is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the use or misuse of the verification portal.
- Termination:
- Users may terminate their use of the Platform at any time by providing prior written notice.
